Message from the East
Widow’s Sons’ Lodge No. 60 is one of the oldest Masonic Lodges in the Commonwealth of Virginia. Chartered in 1799, Widow’s Sons’ has proudly served the Charlottesville community for over 225 years. Our Lodge Brethren laid the cornerstone for the University of Virginia in 1817, and it is with great pride that we celebrated the bicentennial of that event on 6 October 2017.
Widow’s Sons’ is the home of over 180 Freemasons. Men interested in Masonry are cordially invited to visit us at the Charlottesville Masonic Temple before our regularly-scheduled Stated Communications, or during one of the many community events in which we participate.
Sincerely and Fraternally,
Worshipful Master, WS60
Stated Communications are the 3rd Monday of each month at 7pm. A lodge dinner, beginning promptly at 6pm, precedes each Stated Communication.
